Our Activities
Beside the producer at every step
We add value for our members at every link of the chain that runs from the field to the market.
Since our cooperative is a newly established structure, we address our activities by clearly distinguishing between our current capacity and the service areas we are developing. Our goal is to be a cooperative that not only markets the producer's product, but also builds solution capacity in the areas they need — from production planning to the resolution of technical problems, from training to market connections.
Training, Technical Support and Mentorship
We believe that the support a producer needs is not limited to providing theoretical knowledge alone. We aim to develop training, technical support and mentorship activities within a structure that complements one another. Our goal is to identify our members' needs in the field, to establish connections with experts and institutions where necessary, to develop applicable solutions and to ensure that the knowledge acquired is reflected in the producer's daily production practice.
Training in areas such as animal health, care and feeding, hygiene, milk quality, farm management, cooperative practice and business management; technical support for machinery, equipment and operational problems; and a mentorship approach that helps the producer reach the right information, expert or solution mechanism form the foundation of this area.
We care not only about transferring knowledge, but about turning that knowledge into solutions in the field.
Technical Services and Local Solution Capacity
In agricultural production, and especially in technical systems such as the cold chain, continuity cannot be ensured merely by having the right equipment. When daily problems such as electricity, water, calibration, maintenance, equipment and logistics cannot be addressed in time, even the best infrastructure can lose its function.
The approach that has developed through the work carried out in Yeşilova has been to identify the problem on site, to produce a solution as quickly as possible, to mobilize expert support when needed, and to follow the process until the system is running again. In the new period, our goal is to transform this technical experience from knowledge that resides in individuals into the institutional capacity of the cooperative.
We want to be a cooperative that does not wait for an outside solution to every problem, but develops the capacity to produce solutions locally.
Production Planning, Input Supply and Joint Procurement
In agricultural production, the right decision does not begin only with determining what will be produced. The producer's existing capacity, land and livestock assets, input requirements, costs and the product's return in the market must be evaluated together. One of our first goals is to build an inventory of our members' production and needs.
For feed, fertilizer, seed and other agricultural inputs, we aim first to determine the real need, and then to bring quantities together in order to seek suitable quality, price and payment conditions. Our aim is not merely to buy more cheaply, but to be able to supply the right input, in the right quantity and under the right conditions.
Not a cooperative that produces first and then looks for a customer, but one that follows the market, assesses demand and strengthens its production decision accordingly.
Sales, Marketing and Market Development
We believe that sustainability in agricultural production cannot be ensured merely by producing more. For the producer to receive the true return on their labor, the market, the buyer, quality expectations and price conditions must be taken into account from the very beginning of the production process.
Our goal is to create a system that develops joint bargaining power and can build more regular, transparent and sustainable relationships with buyers, instead of a structure in which producers are forced to market their products individually and in a fragmented way. Market research, price and market monitoring, institutional relationships with potential buyers, and contract-based sales models for suitable products are the fundamental tools of this approach.
Our aim is not merely to sell products, but to create a sustainable sales system that strengthens the producer's position in the market.
Quality, Standards and Traceability
In agricultural production, quality cannot be ensured merely by inspecting the product at the final stage. Quality must be protected throughout the entire process, beginning with production and continuing through collection, storage, transport and delivery to the market.
The work on the cold chain has demonstrated in the field how critical topics such as hygiene, antibiotic risk, milk acceptance, calibration, and producer and enterprise records are. Our goal is to transform this experience into a more systematic structure — to raise quality awareness, to record critical processes, and over time to build a reliable traceability system.
We aim not only to inspect quality, but to create it together at every stage of production.
Digitalization and Data Management
We see digitalization not merely as a website or a social media activity, but as a tool that strengthens our production, service, quality, communication and management processes.
Our goal is to record, regularly and reliably, data on our members' production capacity, product quantity, input requirements and use of cooperative services — and to be able to use this information in production planning, joint procurement, technical support and marketing decisions.
To decide with data, not with guesswork.
Project Development and Institutional Partnerships
We attach importance to turning the needs of producers and the region into project ideas, and to developing sustainable partnerships with public institutions, universities, development agencies, the private sector and other stakeholders. We see the cooperative's role not as a structure that does everything on its own, but as a local coordination and solution center that connects the producer's need with the right institution, expert and market.
Milk and the Cold Chain
In Yeşilova, the milk cold chain is the result of a multi-party effort carried out with the contributions of public institutions, producers, technical teams, sector representatives and other stakeholders. This process showed that establishing a milk collection center is not sufficient on its own; the sustainable operation of the system depends on the rapid resolution of daily technical problems, on the producer's trust in the system, and on the presence of a continuous solution capacity at the local level.
In Yeşilova, following the preparatory work, the first milk collection took place on 10 March 2026. The process required the joint management of many topics such as hygiene, antibiotic risk, quality control, technical infrastructure, calibration, electricity and water systems, personnel and logistics.
In Yeşilova, the cold chain has become not merely an infrastructure that was built, but a system that is owned, whose problems are solved in the field, and that is strengthened by local technical capacity.
How do we work?
From field to market in five steps
We Identify the Need Together
We identify our members' production capacity, input requirements, technical problems and marketing expectations based on field observation and data.
We Plan Production and Resources
We plan what will be produced, how much can be produced, which inputs are required and which market the product can be directed to.
We Procure Together
By bringing together common needs, we develop joint procurement opportunities for feed, fertilizer, seed and other inputs, benefiting from economies of scale.
We Strengthen With Knowledge and Technical Support
Through training, fieldwork, technical consultancy and joint solutions, we work to improve quality and productivity in production.
We Protect Quality and Value
We attach importance to keeping the product under appropriate conditions from production to delivery, and to advancing quality and hygiene standards.
We Do Not See the Market as Detached From Production
By following buyers, price movements and market needs, we develop relationships through which products can be marketed under stronger conditions.
We Monitor and Improve
We track the results of the work carried out, record problems and use the experience gained in the next round of implementation.
